"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."

-Maya Angelou

So many things to write about and so little time. Here are a few ideas to get you started. Think of them as prompts to get donors to chime in with stories of their own that relate.

Write about......

- your first pet
- your favorite community organization - when someone helped you
- a time you volunteered
- something you struggle with
- a tough lesson you learned
- skills you love to teach others
- when you helped someone
- someone who made your life better
- a time when you felt lost.

There are many other things you can write stories about as well. Here are a few random thoughts to get your creative juices flowing. Write about...your favorite song; an amazing meal; why your best friend is your best friend; your best vacation; when you realized you were a grown-up (if you think you're a grown-up); someone you always cared about and never told; one time you were genuinely frightened; your favorite movie; the friends you know are always there for you; your favorite hobby; a lie you told because you thought it would help; what you would do if you won the lottery; a dream you've never told anyone about; your favorite piece of clothing; your most prized possession; your favorite book; your dream vacation; your parents; your career; your first love; your three genie wishes; one skill you've always wanted to have; your favorite memory; how you describe yourself to others; where you've lived; the first teacher you remember; the first street you remember living on; what makes you feel great.
